PRAIRIE STORIES & AUTHORS

DriverWorks Ink is a proud Prairie publisher specializing in true stories of fascinating Prairie people and unsung Canadian heroes. We publish books in genres including nonfiction biographies, nonfiction healing and wellness, Prairie and rural humor, and children’s and juvenile historical fiction. Publisher Deana Driver (pronounced Dee-na) works in three different publishing models – as a partner with authors in a hybrid publishing model, in a traditional book-publishing model, and as a self-publisher or co-publisher of her writing. Find more information in Write & Publish Your Book if you are an author looking for help in publishing your book.

During three decades of working as a Canadian journalist, Deana Driver uncovered and shared stories of many intriguing Canadians. These included recognized heroes as well as everyday individuals who put their ideas into action to accomplish something great or to answer the call of others and make this world a better place. We are proud to share stories of more Canadian heroes – well-known or unsung – through our DriverWorks Ink books.

DriverWorks Ink is pleased to donate to numerous charities from the sale of many of our books. Charities we have supported include: the Canadian Cancer Society, Cancer Research Unit at the University of Saskatchewan/Canadian Cancer Agency, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, CIBC Run for the Cure, Relay For Life, Raise-A-Reader, Canadian Paralympic Association, Children’s Wish Foundation, Lung Association of Saskatchewan, Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Trust Fund, Canadian War Museum, and KLD Wellness Foundation.
