About the Authors:
Mary Harelkin Bishop and Deana J. Driver are award-winning, bestselling Canadian authors. They have been collaborating on publishing books since 2008, when Deana edited and they co-published Mary’s kids’ fiction book Seeds of Hope. Their first written connection to the SASKI-PASS community was with Mary as the author and Deana as the editor-publisher of Moving Forward: The Journey of Paralympian Colette Bourgonje, which was launched with Colette at the Saskatchewan Pavilion of the 2010 Paralympic Games in Whistler, B.C. This two-book project of Prairie Peaks and Tracks and Gone Skiing marks Mary’s and Deana’s first collaboration as co-authors. They are honoured to have worked on these books with the Saskatchewan Ski Association Para Adaptive Snow Sports (SASKI-PASS) and the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame and Museum.
